EasyTest
EasyTest is the module of the EasyAcademy suite designed to optimise and manage the exam timetables of students and lecturers at university Departments/Schools.
EasyTest was developed to assist academic administrative offices in the challenging task of aligning students’ exam schedules with the availability of lecturers and classrooms within their Departments/Schools.
- Efficient planning
EasyTest makes it possible to drastically reduce the time required to generate the exam sessions schedule , to find a solution that best meets the lecturers’ requests , and to ease the students’ exam calendar. Moreover, the software is able to manage other specific aspects, such as creating merged exams for the same lecturer or different lecturers, assigning an exam to multiple classrooms simultaneously, and managing appeals for courses no longer active, belonging to deactivated degree courses that still require the allocation of a specific examination date.
- Automatic allocation of exam sessions
One way of using EasyTest involves the automatic allocation of the exam sessions schedule by the academic office. In this mode, it is necessary to use the EasyTest automatic processor, which considers and checks the main rules of the exam calendar, such as the minimum gap between two exam sessions, the minimum number of days between consecutive sessions, the deadlines for scheduling exams, any unavailability of lecturers, and so on.
- Exam booking by lecturers
Another way of using EasyTest allows lecturers to book the date, and possibly the classroom , directly through an online procedure dedicated to them. In this mode, lecturers can see the dates already assigned by their colleagues and appropriately book their exams on the available days.
