Classrooms booking EasyRoom

EasyRoom is the module of the EasyAcademy suite that manages University classrooms and laboratories’ bookings.

The main goal of EasyRoom is to centralize the management of classrooms, laboratories and halls’ bookings, to maintain direction and control at University level on use and saturation of spaces, decentralizing the work between the different Departments / Schools, to manage event bookings in the classrooms usually used by the different departments.

Usually the management of the classrooms is subordinated to the drafting of the primary teaching activities calendar, such as lesson schedules and exam sessions and therefore requires a collaboration between the academic offices and the users who book classrooms for sporadic events such as conferences, seminars, graduations, etc.

The centralized management of classrooms bookings, therefore, assumes a fundamental role, as it allows to assign these spaces in a balanced way to the various didactic structures and to maintain, at the same time, an asset management control of the different teaching facilities.
EasyRoom was developed to facilitate the task of the academic administrative staff responsible for managing available spaces and planning and organizing their use: the software, in fact, provides different levels of  authority and allows to input specific contact persons with the task of approving or rejecting requests from internal applicants and external personnel.

Thanks to its simplicity and versatility of use, EasyRoom is the ideal system for the management and booking of classrooms at universities.

EasyCourse

EasyCourse is the module of the EasyAcademy suite that allows you to optimize and manage student and teachers’ lesson schedules at Universities Departments / Schools.

Thanks to the system integration between the two modules it is possible, with a simple click, to export the lesson schedules prepared with EasyCourse into EasyRoom’s to-do list; the exported bookings will be considered as “lesson” events and will, depending on the choice of the EasyCourse administrator, also be viewed on the student’s and teacher’s web planner, on external screens and on the EasyApp mobile application.

EasyTest

EasyTest is the module of EasyAcademy suite that allows you to optimize and manage students and teachers’ appeal exam schedule at university Departments / Schools.

Thanks to the system integration between the two modules it is possible, with a simple click, to export the appeal exam schedules prepared with EasyCourse into EasyRoom’s to-do list; the exported bookings will be considered as “exam” events and will, depending on the choice of the EasyCourse administrator, can also be viewed on the student’s and teacher’s web planner, on external screens and on the EasyApp mobile application.

EasyAnalytics

EasyAnalytics is the module of the EasyAcademy suite that allows the preparation of statistics on the use and saturation of the University classrooms.

All the charts provided by the EasyAnalytics module are calculated starting from the events stored in the EasyRoom module.

Consultation of events on screens

The consultation of the engagements on screens offers the possibility to make information on the reservations entered in EasyRoom available through the projection on large external screens arranged at the entrance or in the corridors of the university buildings.

Web planner for students and teachers

The students and teachers ‘ web planner is an EasyAcademy suite module that allows public consultation of information to be provided to students and teachers.

Thanks to the system integration between the two modules it is possible, with a simple click, to make public the information on the lesson calendar and on the exam calendar, exported and eventually updated promptly in EasyRoom and then allow consultation of the calendars to students and teachers.

EasyApp

EasyApp is the EasyAcademy suite mobile application for students and teachers.

Thanks to the integration between the two modules it is possible, with a simple click, to publish information about lesson and exam schedules, exported and eventually updated promptly in EasyRoom and then allow students and teachers to consult them; it is also possible to publish the daily classrooms availability to inform students about it in real time.

EasyBadge

EasyBadge is the module of the EasyAcademy suite for screening students class attendance at compulsory attendance courses.

Thanks to the system integration between the two modules it is possible, with a simple click, to show the dates and start and end times of the events stored in EasyRoom within the EasyBadge module to make them available for student’s attendance monitoring.

EasyRegister

EasyRegister is the module of the EasyAcademy suite for self-certification of teacher class attendance.

Thanks to the system integration between the two modules it is possible to report the start and end dates and times of the events stored in EasyRoom in the Teachers Register form to allow teachers to record their class attendance.

Software for University’s unique authentication

EasyRoom can be configured to allow access to the system with unique University credentials; EasyCourse is compatible with the most common SSO protocols such as Shibboleth, CAS and LDAP.
